Discover the most astonishing routes in the Val d’Aran

In this itinerary you will get to know the most unusual landscapes of the region without pedaling, from old abandoned mining facilities, to antique excavated water chambers that will give extra emotion to the routes.

Day 1
Bossost- Bassa d’ Arres – Victoria mines (24km, 950m+)

We start the itinerary in the village of Bossòst, where after crossing Garonne river, we will follow the indications to Arres along a 1,5 km asphalt track until we get to the dirt track of Margalida, which will lead us to some mines of the same name.

From here, we will follow the indications to the visit itinerary of the Victoria Mine, where we will arrive to the old engine room.

At this point, we will get off the bike and visit the mine, proof of the importance that this sector had during the first half of the last century.

After the mines, we will descend a path until we come to the paved road that will lead us to Bossòst.

Day 2
Bagerge- Sauth deth Pish (46,5km, 1200m+)

One of the longest and most spectacular routes in the Valley.

Starting from Vielha, we will arrive at the asphalted track of Varradòs, after crossing the villages of Vilac, Aubert and Arròs.

We will go up the whole valley along the asphalted track until Sauth deth Pish, in this point we will enter the track that will lead us to the pass at 2100m height.

From this point, we will begin our descent through the Unhòla valley until we reach the town of Bagerge.

From here to the end of the route the villages of Naut Aran will be connected.

Day 3
Pruedo (32km, 800m)

High mountain route that runs through the area of the Bahns of Tredòs and the upper part of the Aiguamòg valley, belonging to the periphery of the Aigüestortes and the Estany de San Maurici National Park.

We will start the tour in Betren and reach the village of Arties, where going up the Valarties Valley along a paved path, we will reach the Pont de Ressèc. At this point we will turn left climbing a beautiful valley that will lead us to Pruedo, where we can appreciate the views towards the Montarto and the Rius Valley.

From here we will start a long descent to Salardú passing through Banhs de Tredòs and leaving the Aiguamòg dam on our right. Finally, we will go through Gessa and the rest of the villages before reaching the end.
